Abstract

This study aims to explore the intersection of technology and management practices and how their integration drives organizational transformation. A qualitative research design was employed, utilizing semi-structured interviews with 25 participants, including senior executives, managers, and technology specialists from diverse industries. The data collection process continued until theoretical saturation was achieved. Interviews were conducted remotely, and data were analyzed using NVivo software to identify recurring themes and insights through thematic analysis. The study identified three main themes: (1) technology’s role in management, (2) evolving management practices, and (3) the impact on organizational culture. Automation of processes, the use of digital collaboration tools, and data-driven decision-making were crucial in transforming organizational practices. Moreover, the study found that adopting agile methodologies, reshaping leadership practices, and implementing real-time performance metrics were key components of evolving management practices. Participants highlighted challenges such as employee resistance, integration complexities, and the need for leadership support in facilitating digital transformation. Finally, the research emphasized the importance of effective change management strategies and the need for inclusivity and knowledge sharing in fostering a digital-friendly organizational culture. The findings suggest that technology is central to transforming management practices and organizational structures, but its integration requires strategic leadership, effective change management, and a culture of continuous learning. Organizations must address the challenges of resistance and the complexities of digital transformation to fully leverage the benefits of technological advancements. Effective leadership and comprehensive employee training are crucial to ensure successful implementation and adoption of digital tools.
